| 2013 can be a special year for Chief Meteorologist Eric Sorensen because he celebrates working at WREX for that decade! From 19992003 he worked for a Meteorologist in East Texas at KTRE and KLTV. Eric came to be and raised in Rockford, attending St. Edward's Grade School, Boylan Secondary school, and Northern Illinois University.
