| Baltimore County police shot a man after he charged at officers with a knife Tuesday afternoon in , they said.
Officers who were called to check on the well-being of a man in the 8600 block of Oakleigh Road arrived shortly after 1 p.m. to find him outside his home, police said. The man threatened officers with a knife and charged, police said.
