In my opinion his point was that like a manager you are expected to wear "business casual" and he was in receiving "helping" unload a truck--even though he was "dressed up". I'm not sure DMXMD however i respect any manager who'll get jump in and help. Our managers (even some DM's) won't begin and help-they will uphold watching you work but won't ask if they can help or lift a finger to help. They don't get my respect.

BTW-you pay a nice income for something and usually it is better quality and can last. Footwear is like that-buy the cheap shoes as well as your feet will hurt and they won't last--especially walking on concrete for 8-10 hours each day.
