The depression/recession is not over as the news media would like us all to believe,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
1) I'd rather have goods made by Americans of Asian background in the US than ones made by workers of any background in China,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
2) Because I care about this and about the environment,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I try to buy things that last. I buy from thrift shops (keeping things out of landfills) and,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], when I buy new,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I buy American even if it costs more.(I use the money I save by thrift shopping on buying the somewhat more expensive US goods.)
Haven't set foot in a Wal-Mart in a decade. I go to Target maybe once a year. I wish more folks would join me on this,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], until stores are again filled with made in USA goods and we have a better economy.

Yes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I live close to JW Hulme too and I've stopped in to look at their great stuff. I've wanted one of their bags for a long time but I can never get it to fit in my budget. I'm glad that the 3% of the folks that have plundered all our money have decided that Hulme and Red Wing are worthy of their attention (for a while,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], at least). It's great that Hulme was able to call back all their laid-off workers and get that money back into circulation around the West Seventh neighborhood. I wish them the best.
