BANGOR, Maine - An area transient who had been arrested last week at Eastern Maine Community College is within trouble again after police say he stole a pair of shoes from a Bangor Mall store.
Jeffrey Howard, 59,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], was arrested and faced with theft on Thursday night,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], based on Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards.
On Nov. 28,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Howard was arrested following a messy spree at EMCC,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], in which he allegedly left water running in a bathroom and feces and toilet tissues on the floor. A campus security vehicle seemed to be damaged.
In addition to the felony aggravated criminal mischief charge Howard faces in the EMCC incident, he was faced with misdemeanor theft in the wake from the incident at the mall.
Howard remains within the Penobscot County Jail, based on Edwards.
