I recently rediscovered an old trick that I used to use back in my college days. It's not so much of a trick,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but a way to make my old shoes new again. I just take them to the shoemaker.

Now that I know when my shoe starts to wear out I am not going to replace it but rather refurbish it I can justify spending a little more money on a good pair of shoes. I no longer have to settle for bargain basement shoes because they are the ones I can afford. I now can justify spending twice as much on a shoe with quality leather that is going to last a little longer.
