Scott was “considering a restructure of her global business,” their statement said.
“Her business overall was only seven years old and although some areas of the business had not yet reached their potential, other parts of her business were proving successful,” it said. “The long-term prospects for the business were encouraging.”

To suggest otherwise, Scott’s in-house design team said in the statement, is “not only highly misleading and inaccurate but also extremely hurtful and disrespectful to the memory of L’Wren Scott.”

A 6-foot-3-inch former model, Scott did not leave a note when she hanged herself Monday in her Manhattan apartment while Sir Mick was in Australia with the Rolling Stones preparing for a tour.

Jagger, 70, said later he was “struggling to understand” why she killed herself. But financial records in the United Kingdom — where LS Fashion Limited was incorporated — revealed it was nearly $6 million in debt.
